Uncaught SyntaxError: JSON.parse: ...

If the application fails to load with a SyntaxError displayed in the console, this is usually caused by it trying to read invalid JSON. Check any JSON files you've edited recently for syntax errors. A likely suspect is the JSON file loaded for the attributes-editor-configuration configuration value.

The specific error message in the browser console may provide more information on the location in the JSON file where the error occurs. Unfortunately it does not usually mention the name of the file that contains the error. If you are having trouble pinpointing the error, we recommend using the "pause on exceptions" feature in your browser's JavaScript debugger to pause at the moment the error occurs and then inspecting the local variables to determine both the data being parsed and the path to the corresponding JSON file. This works best when running the application in development mode.
