Resolved issues

  1. An issue has been resolved in the way the state of the topicref-from-document-template-insert operation was determined, which could crash the editor if this operation was assigned to a toolbar button.
  2. An issue has been resolved in the structure view which could cause the editor to crash in some uncommon configurations.
  3. Removed a debug message triggered when the project browser was opened.
  4. An issue has been resolved in the spell checker which could have prevented spelling errors in the document being marked correctly.
  5. An issue has been resolved which could have prevented markers for comments, change tracking and the spell checker being displayed and/or updated correctly.
  6. An issue has been resolved which could have caused the editor to crash when extensions manipulate the HTML for a document.
  7. An issue has been resolved which caused degraded performance when updating large parts of the displayed document.
  8. An issue has been resolved which caused parts of the document to disappear when edits are made near the root of the XML document.
  9. An issue has been resolved which could have caused errors in updating the selection after edits are made.
  10. An issue has been resolved in the way the state of the change tracking navigation operations was determined, which could have crashed the editor if no selection was set initially.
  11. An issue has been resolved in the fontoxml-single-document-hierarchy add-on which prevented the cursor from being placed after initial documents are loaded.
  12. An issue has been resolved in the fontoxml-single-document-hierarchy add-on which could have caused invalid selections if a sheet frame node was removed.

Other improvements

  1. An experiment has been integrated to improve responsiveness under heavy load. Set the ‘enable-experiment/buffered-input’ configuration setting to true to enable.
  2. Performance of the structure view has been improved when the truncateToSingleLine option is used on large amounts of text.
  3. Minor performance issues have been identified and resolved in the way FontoXML handles the internal XML representation.
  4. Minor performance issues have been identified and resolved in the way certain UI components were updated.
  5. A performance issue has been identified and resolved in the way complex out-of-order display scenarios were updated.
  6. An experiment has been integrated to improve responsiveness for schemas using break elements rather than separate paragraph container elements to separate large amounts of nodes. Set the ‘enable-experiment/implicit-block-view-fragments’ configuration setting to true to enable.
